About Luke
A boy whose joy still moves us forward.
Luke Mankabady was 12 years old when he was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, a rare brain cancer that affects only 200 to 300 children each year.
Born on May 22, 2006 in Royal Oak, Michigan, Luke had an infectious laugh, a confident smile, and a faith that gave him strength. On December 13, 2019, Luke peacefully reunited with the Lord, surrounded by his family. Luke's Kids Foundation was founded in 2020 to carry his legacy forward.
